The Hydrones system uses equilibrium measurement method to detect hydrogen content in molten steel: nitrogen gas is filled into the molten steel, and nitrogen gas circulates in the molten steel and pneumatic cabinet. Nitrogen collects hydrogen through the molten steel, and the measurement ends when the nitrogen and hydrogen content in the molten steel reaches equilibrium.
The Hydrones system collects hydrogen from nitrogen measured by thermal conductivity sensors to obtain hydrogen content results. Then calculate the final hydrogen content according to Sivet"s law.
